Above, I've added some journaling about our sailing trip on the inside of the doors that were created to hide a photo. This is just one set of pages that we will create together in the Photo/Art journal workshop.

The 'Open the Door' photo art Journal:

Open the Door is a funky, artistic scrapbook. This workshop includes 4 lessons utilizing Altered Book techniques in a blank journal. The photo journal you'll create is very mixed media! We will use fabric, paint, Twinkling H2Os and much more in our journals.

Do you have a lot of photos hanging around that you haven't done anything with yet? Are you are hoping to incorporate them into some kind of cool art journal? What if you could learn a few new Altered Book techniques too? Are you looking for an artistic way to share your photos and tell a story at the same time? Well then, this class is for you!

We'll start with a blank 7-Gypsies house-shaped journal ('Mini Maison' - 5.5" x 7.5") OR any other journal of your choice. We'll add paint, paper, photos, fabric, images, ribbons, charms, transparencies, tissue paper and more to create a very special one-of-a kind photo art journal. The workshop will go over various altered book techniques and show you how to cover blank pages, make doors and windows for your favorite photos, add text, cut pages, and make your pages sparkle with Twinkling H2Os!

There are 4 lessons for the Open the Door photo art journal class and each lesson is approximately 30 pages long. All lessons include instructions plus step by step photos to illustrate. Following my instructions you can create a unique photo art journal while learning lots of different techniques that can be applied to other projects.

The cost of this 4-lesson workshop is $40.00 and is payable to me via PayPal. Please email me to purchase of one of my workshops.
