A Little Creative Space
The 'Open the Door' photo art Journal: This is a funky, artistic scrapbook workshop that includes 4 lessons utilizing Altered Book techniques. This photo journal is very mixed media! We will use fabric, paint, Twinkling H2Os and much more in our journals.
Do you have a lot of photos hanging around that you haven't done anything with yet and you are hoping to incorporate them into some kind of cool art journal? What if you could learn a few Altered Book techniques too? Are you looking for an artistic way to share your photos and tell a story at the same time? Well then, this class is for you!

We'll start with a blank 7-Gypsies 'Mini Maison' house-shaped journal (5.5" x 7.5") or any other journal of your choice. We'll add paint, paper, photos, fabric, images, ribbons, charms, transparencies, tissue paper and more to create a very special one-of-a kind photo art journal. This class will go over various altered book techniques and show you how to cover blank pages, make doors & windows for your favorite photos, add text, cut pages, and make things sparkle with Twinkling H2Os!
There are 4 lessons for the Open the Door photo art journal class. Each lesson is approximately 30 pages long, including text and photos to illustrate the instructions. By following my instructions you can create a unique photo art journal while learning many different techniques that can be applied to other projects. I can send lessons once a week (as a PDF file) or you can receive all the lessons at once.
The cost of this 4-lesson workshop is $45.00 and is payable via PayPal.

“I must say this was an excellent class. The lessons were incredibly prepared, well written and extremely helpful photos. I don't think I'll ever journal the same way, ever again." Anne
