Welcome to A Little Creative Space: the teaching site of Lenna Andrews. What's this website all about? FREE mixed-media tutorials, plus detailed workshop instructions you can purchase!

Check out the FREE tutorials by looking at the sidebar to your left. These free tutorials include a link to a PDF file that you can print out for easy reference later. The on-line/email workshops I offer for purchase include multiple lessons, email support, and when available, a yahoo group classroom for sharing.

A Little Creative Space is one of the places on the web where you can find my mixed-media art and instruction. See the links at the bottom of the page for more, and check out my art blog to view my most recent art. I have designed this website to offer a variety of FREE mixed media art tutorials, along with the option for students to purchase longer, more in-depth on-line workshops - all in one spot!

On-line Creative Lenna Workshops -how do they work?
My on-line workshops come complete with e-mail support for any questions as you move through the lessons. Workshops usually include 3 to 5 lessons, and each lesson will have 15 - 35 pages filled with information and photos to illustrate the instruction. All lessons include a series of step-by-step photographs with very clear directions on how to get from step A to step B, to step C, and so on . . . making it very easy to complete the project.

Workshops and individual lessons vary in length and content, are priced accordingly and are very affordable.

Lessons are available for purchase at any time! Write me an email about the workshop you are interested in and I'll respond as quickly as possible. Through email, we'll set up a convenient time for your workshop.

SCHEDULING NOTE: as of May, 2009, our home is on the market and for sale. We will be moving from Connecticut to Bradenton, FL (very near my parents) when our home sells! Therefore, I have removed the PayPal Buttons from the site. I want to make sure I'm available and not in the middle of moving when you would like to receive my lessons! Please email me first ~before you consider purchasing one of my workshops.

After we have an agreed-upon time for your workshop, you'll receive an invoice payable to me via PayPal, and I will sent the supply list immediately.

Creative Lenna workshops are offered on an ongoing basis throughout the year. You will have a lot of input on the starting date of the workshop and the pace of your lessons (how often you will receive them). Full details are on the Registration Info page.

Group classes will also be scheduled at times for those who would prefer working together and sharing their progress in a yahoo group. When these group sessions are scheduled, it will be your choice whether you work privately with me via email, or take advantage of one the group sessions (on hold for a bit as of May, 2009).

Wouldn't it be great if you could have detailed instructions for a number of projects and techniques that you could work on whenever you liked, and at your own pace? As an added bonus, you will receive help on a one-on-one basis from an experienced and caring instructor who loves to teach and inspire; that's me! : )

The Mini Art Quilt Book is probably my most popular on-line workshop. This particular workshop is great for anyone who has been wanting to make fabric 'quilties' (small art quits) and learn new techniques. I have taught this workshop so many times! It includes five lessons with a total of 169 pages of instruction. The lessons are easily viewable as PDF files and include lots of descriptive photos. I am only an email away to answer your questions and critique your work. Check out the links in the side bar to your left for all of my available workshops!
