Lesson 1 - Fabric Stamping Basics:
All you need to know and more . . . Our project is an ART Pillow. We will learn all about fabric stamping with ink & paint, how to do ‘transfer embossing’ onto fabric with Adirondack or other colored embossing powders, how to color fabric directly with ColorBox Crafters Inks, all while creating a beautiful pillow cover you will just love.

Our project is coloring and stamping a silk scarf or silk yardage. We will continue stamping with both fabric inks and paints, this time on silk! We will try Dye-na-Flow, Lumiere, Textile, and Neopaque paints on silk, plus the Adirondack Color washes to color and paint your silk scarf or yardage.

Lesson 3: Beaded Pendants or Ornaments: Our project is Beaded Fabric Pendants or Ornaments. We will start by painting silk or cotton fabric, use pearl-ex powders to add a shimmer to the fabric, then stamp a goddess (or other) image on our painted fabric. We’ll also add a meaningful quote stamped onto a ribbon! The fabric is then cut to size and we’ll use fabric glue and batting to create a dimensional pendant or ornament. Beads will be added to finish off this special piece!

Fabric Stamping & Painting, April 2008 - Comments: Oh Lenna...I just want you to know that I have really enjoyed your class and I have learned a lot. I am super busy this week so I decided instead of rushing through this lesson I would wait until I had the time to put into it. I don't know when that will be hopefully next week sometime...I'll post as soon as I put my little 3D piece together. ~ Caroline Outz Hay Glitter Tart Designs
