*she is over 50 years old - born in February,1957!

*she has been told she looks younger.

*being creative is second nature to Lenna. Many thanks to Art Snyder for the name "Creative Lenna".

*Lenna has performed with modern dance troupes many times . . . . and admits she still loves to dance!

*she wrote poetry when she was a young woman.

*she loves the incredible beauty of nature .

*Lenna loves connecting with people.

*thinks she is very lucky to have her own studio. 

*Lenna enjoys learning new things. 

*she has been published in 9 different magazines. 

*enjoys staying home with Steven more than going out. 

*is internet savvy, thanks to her son Decklin. 

*misses her son Dallas who lives in Italy now!

*She holds an Associates Degree from West Los Angeles Community College in General Studies, but never received her Bachelor's degree.

*Lenna operated a rubber stamp business, LennaLines (unmounted rubber stamps -quotes) from 2000-2003.

*she always took Art Classes in school. 

*she married John Foster in 1978 when she was 21 years old. They were married for 26 years, but their marriage ended when John left Lenna in 2004 for another woman. 

*from that marriage, Lenna has 2 wonderful sons that she loves dearly! Decklin Tisdale Foster, born in 1981, and Dallas Chandler Foster, born in 1984. 

*Lenna reconnected with Steven Deming in late 2004 to talk about both of their marriages ending. Steven and Lenna had been friends for over 30 years, but they had not in touch for a few years. Unbeknownst to Lenna, Steven had a crush on her when they were 15 and 16 years old!

*Lenna and Steven fell in love very quickly, 30 years after they originally met. It was a whirlwind courtship! They were married in 2005 - less than two months after Lenna's divorce was final and only 8 months after they first emailed each other in October 2004. 

*Lenna believes that being in the right place at the right time really does happen sometimes.  "There are no mistakes, no coincidences, all events are blessings given to us to learn from." -Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

*Lenna is often described as being very sweet . . . hmmm?

*Lenna has always been supported in her artistic endeavors by her family. 

*Lenna has taught large groups of students, small groups of students, private classes and internet/email classes. 

*she still enjoys taking photographs. 

*she has been published over 45 times since 1993! 

*her great uncle, William Glackens, is a well-known American Impressionist painter. She is named after his daughter Lenna. 

*Steven & Lenna have moved 4 times in 5 years - yikes!

*Their biggest move was on November 29th, 2009 from CT to Florida to live near Lenna's parents in Bradenton, Florida.

*Lenna is often described as very hard working. 

*The moon and stars are important to her in many ways.

*Lenna often feels things very deeply and strongly. 

*she looks forward to spending time on Wolfe Island, in the Thousand Islands, Ontario, Canada again one of these days! Wolfe island is located on the St. Lawrence River, where Steven's grandmother was born and where Steven's large extended family share time together in the summer. 

*Lenna loves a green salad with goat cheese, grilled chicken, fresh raspberries, Flatbread pizza, avocados & artichokes, ice cream, apples, yogurt, coffee in the morning and making dinner together with Steven.  

*she has been hosting art swaps for over 9 years. 

*her best friend and biggest fan - is her husband Steven. 

*Lenna has two websites and two blogs and more on-line presence than she really needs . . . but she loves it!

*most of all, Lenna likes anything that's just a little bit different and creative.
